The Team:
Corinne and Patrick meet each other in the year 2007 in Mallorca, Spain. After a short time they decided to make their own business and move to the Philippines. Far away from the touristic area, where diving is still diving.
Born in the year 1972 in Germany. He was growing up in a diverís family since he started diving at the age of 6 with his father. Already after his first dive he was so fascinated that he never stopped diving and even made it to his profession. His first destination to work in the diving business was Egypt, ther he was working 12 years. Seven of this twelve year only as dive guide on luxury liveabaord boats. After such a long time in the Arabic country he decided to discover something new and went for one season to work as diving instructor in Mallorca. But actually he does not like this crowed tourism thatís why his wife Corinne and he decided to go to the Philippines. After some month in the Philippines they had the chance to buy a liveabaord boat. Thatís when the adventure to own and operate a liveaboard boat started. Patrickís dream to have his own boat came true.
Born in the year 1981 in Switzerland. She discovered the beauties from the underwater world only in the year 2004 when she was on 6 month journey in south and Middle America. As well she was so fascinated that quickly she decided to become a Diving Instructor. It was always her dream to live somewhere abroad on an island. When she got a job offer from a diving center in Mallorca Spain in the year 2007 she left immediately Switzerland to work there. In Mallorca she took her Padi Open Water Instructor Exam and since then she is teaching in German, English, French and Spanish.
She as well, was very enthusiastic to operate a live aboard in the Philippines. One of the countryís of her dreams.
Born in the year 1972 on Romblon Island (western Visayas) at the age of 6 he moved with his family to Surigao (eastern Visayas). As a teenager, he started to drive fisher boats and with 20 he started to build his own boats. Now with the experience of 20 year fisher boat captain and professional boat builder he knows the eastern Visayas better than his own living room.
Born in the year 1972 in Agusan del Norte (Surigao). Roel is as well a professional boat builder like the Captain. With his experience of 10 years he already built a lot of boats. He is not only building the boat, he also drives them. Several years he was working on big fishing boats in Mindoro and knows therefore a lot of the Philippine Sea.
Born in the year 1987 in Guindulman on the island Bohol. Aswell he grew up in a fisherís family actually the same as Opaw (they are cousins). After graduating from high school he was working for different small fishing boats. He is a very strong deckhand and the MY Lady Coco crew is happy to have him on board.
Born in the year 1986 in Mindoro oriental on the island Negros. He was growing up in Tagbilaran the capital of the island Bohol. When he finished school he moved to Anda where he was working 4 years in a diving Resort on the daily diving boat. In 2008 he absolved his Padi Open Water Diver. His dream is to become one day a dive master on the liveaboard boat MY Lady CoCo.
Born in the year 1985 in Guindulman on the island Bohol. He grew up in a fisherís family where fishing was a daily business. Therefore he knows a lot about boat and the Philippines sea. He is a very good carpenter and helped the captain to finish the boat MY Lady Coco.
Born in the year 1984 in Cab-Ilan on Dinagat Island (Surigao del Norte).Already when he was a little boy he loved to go fishing and to cook. After graduating from high scholl he decided to go on to work on big fishing boats, which go out on sea for several weeks. To cook he learned from his mother. When Gabriel is cooked everybody likes to sit on the table and to enjoy all the good food he is preparing.
